VitaHive Power Feed Powder for Bee Nutrition and Brood Development

The OZ Armour VitaHive Power Feed Powder is a nutritional pollen supplement designed to provide honey bees with additional proteins, vitamins and minerals when natural forage is limited. The versatile powder can be mixed with syrup or provided as a dry feed supplement, making it a practical addition to a seasonal bee nutrition plan. Explore OZ Armour for bee nutrition products, bee feeders, hive equipment and other essentials for your apiary.

Nutritional Support for Honey Bees

VitaHive Power Feed Powder provides a concentrated nutritional supplement designed to complement the natural food available to a colony.

Its formulation contains a premium pollen blend with essential proteins, vitamins and minerals, providing additional nutritional components for colonies during periods when natural forage may not meet their needs.

Supports Brood Development

Adequate nutrition plays an important role in brood production and colony development. VitaHive Power Feed Powder is formulated to support healthy brood growth, helping provide nutritional support when colonies require additional resources.

This can be particularly useful during periods of limited pollen availability.

Helps Support Bee Longevity

The formulation is designed to support bee vitality and longevity as part of a broader colony nutrition program.

Providing appropriate supplemental nutrition can help colonies maintain strength during periods when environmental conditions reduce access to natural forage.

Pollen Supplement

VitaHive Power Feed Powder contains a high-quality pollen blend, making it a useful supplemental source of nutritional components for honey bees.

It can be incorporated into feeding routines when natural pollen is scarce or when additional nutritional support is appropriate.

For more bee feeders, bee nutrition products and supplemental feeding equipment, explore our bee feeders collection.

Contains Proteins, Vitamins and Minerals

The powder provides a combination of proteins, vitamins and minerals designed to complement the colony's nutritional intake.

These components support a broader feeding approach rather than relying on a single nutritional source.

Flexible Feeding Options

One of the advantages of VitaHive Power Feed Powder is its versatility. It can be used as a syrup additive or dry feed supplement, allowing beekeepers to choose the feeding method that best suits their colony-management routine.

This flexibility makes the product useful across different feeding situations and seasonal conditions.

Supports Hive Health

The nutritional formula is designed to support overall hive health and vitality. Maintaining good colony nutrition is an important part of responsible hive management, particularly when natural forage is limited.

Supplemental feeding should complement, rather than unnecessarily replace, natural forage when suitable forage is available.

Useful During Limited Forage

Periods of poor weather, seasonal gaps or reduced floral resources can limit the amount of natural pollen available to colonies.

During these periods, a pollen supplement such as VitaHive Power Feed Powder can provide an additional nutritional option as part of an appropriate feeding strategy.

Available in 1 KG and 20 KG

VitaHive Power Feed Powder is available in 1 kg and 20 kg sizes.

The smaller pack is convenient for hobby beekeepers or occasional supplementation, while the larger option is more practical for beekeepers managing multiple colonies or using the product regularly.

Easy to Store

The powder should be stored in a cool, dry place to help maintain its freshness and quality.

Keeping the product sealed and protected from moisture is important when storing powdered bee feed between feeding sessions.

Good fit

Good fit, good quality and good price. I have been using an oz armour suit for several years and this one looks like it will serve me for many more. I had a small snag with my order, but your customer service sorted it for me straight away. Great service all round.

Vraiment tres bien

Vraiment tres bien. Tres bonne protection. legere et fraiche. Il faudrait juste un systeme pliable ou telescopique à la place de la languette dure à mettre dans le haut du chapeau et que l'on a peur de perdre.

The best suit I've owned

Great suit , highly recommend - see review

Took out my new suit this weekend during honey collection. I’m 5’11 and 230lbs with a broad build and I went with the 3xl. I’m really glad I did. The suit is way big which will allow me to wear ice packs and such under neath in summer and thicker clothes in fall.

As far as the specifics that you may want to know about.

Zippers- love the bigger durable zippers they used. I was in and out of the suit several times over the weekend , not one single snag or catch it was awesome. The zippers glided back and and fourth perfectly with each use. I was initially nervous about the leg zippers , but again they used a great zipper and all your zipper tags will tuck away.

Velcro bandings - around your cuffs of wrist and ankles. They aren’t shitty at all! I was thrilled

The suit itself- I plucked 30 stingers out of the suit over several uses, and not one of them made skin contact. I like to wear muscle or tank tops under my suit and I’m pretty used to getting SOMETHING making contact with me- not once this weekend with this suit, I was really impressed

Pockets & hooks- lots of utility things like this, and your pockets are easy to get in and out of

Price- frankly this worried me the most. At $130 I’ve bought suits that were garbage. Oz got recommended to me through the Reddit beekeeping community, and those who recommended it loved it. I can see why, it’s an amazing suit and with the price point you won’t beat it.

Shipping & comms: I paid my $, they sent me confirmation. Then they sent me shipping info. I tracked it easily, and they shipped it like next day.

I hope this works well when dealing with yellowjackets!

The XL jacket and trousers fit me really well! But, I will need to tuck my jacket into the trousers and wear an extra belt to keep the yellowjackets out. Wish me luck :)

Outstanding Jacket

The jacket is by far the best bee jacket I’ve owned. The quality is great and I especially like how easily the zippers move. I highly recommend this jacket.
