Yes — these are the same product. The Beekeeping Gear page now identifies it as the InstantVap 18V Turbo | Pro Digital Vaporizer, while the OZ Armour page uses the longer name InstantVap 18V Turbo, Cordless Oxalic Acid Vaporizer – Battery Not Included. The specifications match, including 18V/240W power, PID temperature control, digital temperature display, 1–4 g dispenser and multiple 18V battery-platform options.
Because this is equipment used with oxalic acid, I’ve kept the copy focused on the vaporizer itself and included appropriate PPE/safety wording rather than presenting it as a standalone treatment.
Precise Varroa Treatment Made Easier: InstantVap 18V Turbo Cordless Oxalic Acid Vaporizer
The InstantVap 18V Turbo Cordless Oxalic Acid Vaporizer is designed for beekeepers who want a fast, controlled way to vaporise measured doses of oxalic acid during Varroa management. Its cordless 18V design, digital temperature display and PID temperature control provide greater control when moving between hives.
Available from OZ Armour, the InstantVap Turbo is suited to beekeepers managing multiple colonies who want a practical, repeatable tool for oxalic acid application.
PID Temperature Control for Consistent Heating
The vaporizer uses solid-state relay PID temperature control with a preset operating temperature of 230°C. The system continuously regulates the heating element rather than relying on a basic thermostat, helping maintain the selected temperature during treatment.
A real-time digital display lets the operator monitor the temperature while working, providing useful feedback throughout the vaporisation process.
Fast 2-Gram Treatment Cycles
With a 2 g dose of oxalic acid, the InstantVap Turbo takes approximately 25–30 seconds per treatment. The design does not require a cool-down period between hives, allowing beekeepers to move efficiently through an apiary.
The tool-free roll-on dispenser can be adjusted between 1 g and 4 g, allowing the required quantity to be measured according to the applicable treatment directions.
Compatible with Multiple 18V Batteries
The Turbo can be configured with a battery socket compatible with several popular power-tool platforms, including Makita LXT, Milwaukee M18, Bosch GBA/ProCore 18V, DeWalt XR 18/20V, Metabo 18V, Einhell Power X Change and Parkside X20V-TEAM.
Only one battery-platform socket can be fitted to the device, and the battery and charger are not included.
Built for Outdoor Apiary Conditions
The stainless steel frame and dispenser are designed to resist acid exposure, while the insulated furnace helps maintain performance in cold and windy conditions.
A replaceable 6 mm brass spout provides a straight, accessible passage that is designed to reduce clogging and make cleaning easier when necessary. The vaporizer also requires a 7 mm hole in the hive wall for positioning during treatment.
Battery Protection and Monitoring
The built-in deep-discharge protection helps protect compatible power-tool batteries. The unit automatically shuts down at approximately 15.4 V and will not restart below approximately 17.2 V.
A live voltage indicator also allows the operator to monitor battery voltage during use.
