Description

Organic Bloodwood Honey Gift in a Clear Glass Bear Jar

Looking for a food gift that people actually remember? This clear glass teddy bear jar holds 450g of raw ACO Certified Organic Bloodwood honey, a genuinely rare native Australian variety. Its silver metal screw lid keeps everything sealed, and the bear looks just as good on the shelf once the honey is gone.

Who It Makes a Great Gift For

The playful shape suits birthdays, Christmas stockings, teacher thank yous and hampers, as well as anyone who seems to have everything. It is also a lovely treat for yourself if you have never tried Bloodwood honey. There is no need for gift wrap, because the jar does the presenting for you.

Inside the Jar: Rare Raw Bloodwood Honey

Bees gather this honey from Red Bloodwood trees (Corymbia gummifera), a native species that only flowers every two to four years. Because harvests are so infrequent, each batch is small. The honey is cold extracted, raw and unfiltered, so nothing is cooked out of it. That means the natural enzymes, antioxidants and pollen stay in the jar along with the flavour.

How to Enjoy It

Bloodwood is a dark amber honey. The first taste is golden syrup, then toasted caramel, finishing with a gentle woody, slightly smoky edge. Try it drizzled over sourdough, stirred through Greek yoghurt or served with a strong cheese.

Why Honey Lovers Rate It

  • ACO Certified Organic, Certification No. 10360
  • Monofloral honey from one native tree species
  • Raw, unfiltered and unheated for full natural character
  • Nothing added: no preservatives and no artificial ingredients
  • Reusable glass jar with a wide mouth for easy spooning

Looking After Raw Honey

Raw honey often turns thick or grainy in cooler months. This is natural crystallisation, not spoilage. Sit the jar in warm (not boiling) water for a while and it will loosen again. Keep it out of the microwave.
