No sticky spoons and no honey running down the side of a jar. The clear food-grade plastic body is light and shatter resistant, and the ribbed sides give your hand something to grip. Flip the cap open, squeeze, then click it closed. It travels well too, from the pantry to the caravan, the campsite or the office kitchen.
What Makes Bloodwood Different
Most supermarket honey is a blend. This one is monofloral, made from the nectar of native Red Bloodwood trees (Corymbia gummifera), which flower only every two to four years. It is cold extracted and left raw and unfiltered, which is why you may notice fine flecks of natural pollen through the jar.
Ways to Use It
Its dark amber colour hints at the flavour: golden syrup and toasted caramel with a light woody finish. Squeeze it over porridge or pancakes, whisk it into salad dressings, glaze roast vegetables or sweeten a smoothie. In baking, it adds depth as well as sweetness.

Squeezing Tips in Cooler Weather
When temperatures drop, raw honey can crystallise and stop flowing freely. Keep the cap shut and stand the jar in a bowl of warm water (not hot or boiling) until it softens. Never put the plastic jar in the microwave.
