Three-Layer Mesh Construction

The jacket is built from three separate layers. Poly-cotton mesh is used on the outside and inside, with an EVA foam mesh layer positioned between them. The layers have a combined thickness of approximately 4 mm.

This structure creates distance between the outer surface and your skin while still allowing air to move through the material. Most of the front, back and sleeves use the ventilated mesh, so airflow is not restricted to a few small panels.

No beekeeping jacket can guarantee that every sting will be prevented. Choose the correct size, wear suitable protective trousers and gloves, secure every closure and inspect the jacket before approaching active colonies.

Fencing Veil with Clear Forward Vision

The detachable fencing veil provides clear forward visibility while covering the face and neck. Its structured shape helps hold the veil mesh away from the nose, skin and glasses, giving you more room when leaning over a hive or handling frames.

The veil opens from the front, making it easier to adjust glasses or access your face without removing the entire hood. Overlapping zipper sections around the neck help cover an area where bees may otherwise find an opening.

Secure Front Closure

A YKK nylon zipper runs down the front of the jacket for smooth, reliable opening and closing. A wide pink fabric flap covers the zipper, adding another layer over the main closure.

The neck and front fastenings should always be checked before entering the apiary. Keeping the veil zipper fully closed and making sure the protective flap is secured helps reduce exposed gaps around the jacket.

Elasticated Cuffs and Waistband

Elasticated cuffs help keep the sleeves close to the wrists while you lift boxes, inspect brood frames or use hive tools. The gathered waistband sits securely around the body and helps stop the jacket from lifting as you bend or reach.

Four Reinforced Front Pockets
